F.A.W.C “Cook Up”: Foraged NZ Cuisine

On Sunday 8th November & Monday 9th November, James will be teaming up with Giulio Sturla (Roots Restaurant, Lyttleton) and Michael Hannah (Loading Ramp, Havelock North) to bring found & gathered goodness to the table. The event is part of ConversatioNZ’s “cook up” series, a collaboration between chefs and communities which aims to highlight the abundance of edible resources available in our back yard.

Part 1 (Sunday 8th November) is the forage: we’ll be out and about in the Bay gathering edible gifts straight from nature. Tickets & event info here.

Part 2 (Monday 9th November) is the feast: James, Giulio and Michael will take over the Bistronomy kitchen to prepare a delicious eight-course feast, using foraged food to tell the story of the land. Tickets and event info here.
